TAM continues to raise its exposure in the European market. The forthcoming launch of services direct from Sao Paolo to Frankfurt will be the latest addition to their expanding international route network into Europe. The daily services will be operated with an A340-500 with very good cargo payload on the route and commence from 30th November 2007.

TAM has signed an exclusive agreement with General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA), Air Logistics Group. With effect from 1st November 2007, Air Logistics Group will provide all sales, service and support functions for TAM’s cargo operation in Germany.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to further develop our partnership with TAM in Germany and to play such an integral part in the cargo development of the airline in Europe.” Comments Stephen Dawkins, Commercial Director Air Logistics Group.

Air Logistics Group has six offices across Germany located at the airports in Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich and Stuttgart and will provide total sales, marketing and operational coverage across the country. Furthermore, TAM’s services from Germany will be supported by the group’s extensive European network.

“We continue to develop our presence in Europe, and it is essential we work with reliable partners who know their markets. Air Logistics Group has succeeded in raising awareness of TAM Cargo across Europe and developed a strong cargo product, we are confident they will continue to do so.” Comments Richard Adams, General Manager International Cargo TAM.
