Air Logistics opens in Slovakia

The global GSSA, Air Logistics Group, continues to expand its network with the recent opening of its 54th office located in Slovakia. The office was successfully launched on 14th March 2011 and is located in Bratislava.

The office is being overseen by Jindrich Hudecek, Regional Director Eastern Europe & Turkey and is being managed locally by Marek Viktoriusz, Branch Manager, who has over 7 years experience in the air cargo industry.

Air Logistics Group has been active in Slovakia for over 10 years building a strong customer base with operations ran remotely from the Czech Republic.

“The time has come to open a dedicated office in Bratislava to ensure we provide the best possible service to our customers in Slovakia,” comments Jindrich Hudecek, Regional Director Eastern Europe & Turkey, “With a dedicated office we can now fully utilise the potential of this rapidly growing market.”

“Our new office in Bratislava is the latest piece in our strategy to expand further into Central & Eastern Europe where we have a long established presence. As manufacturers continue to move further east to control costs, we continue to ensure that we are well positioned in these rapidly growing markets,” comments Stephen Dawkins, Chief Operating Officer, Air Logistics Group. “We very much look forward to developing additional business from this market and we continue to look to expand further east.'

The Air Logistics Group network now totals 54 offices across 31 countries, with offices recently opened in Kosovo and Albania.
